I have a gladiator avatar in the game with production quality art.I will talk a little about S&S VI and the gameplay mechanics going forward in the weeks ahead. This game will most likely be an Early Access game on Steam so you can get involved and help shape the game, I think that will certainly help with balancing and bugfixing, issues that has plagued earlier games in the series.

In the previous games ( Spartacus, Crusader etc) I showed the whole dev process from day 1, and while that is interesting for game devs, sometimes you can lose a bit of the 'wow' factor in a game and players do get a bit fatigued by the time you're showing off better stuff.Īs such, I won't really be showing off any gameplay or anything for a few months yet, but once we do, it's going to ramp up fast. I've made the decision to not show off any progress on S&S VI until I have something pretty substantial. Hey friends! Sorry, things have been quiet from me on the Swords and Sandals front. This first post is a long one because it's essentially news updates 1 through 6 ( with associated video links too for you to check out if you're interested.) Love to hear your feedback on what you've read about the game thus far. I've been posting these Swords and Sandals VI developer updates on the Discord Channel but seeing as there's a small but growing community here on the S&S sub (and thank you, awesome to see interest in the series!), I am going to post the developer updates here each week too. Hi all, Oliver Joyce here, creator of Swords and Sandals.
